These two tunes were sourced from our great friend from Asturias, bouzouki and fiddle player, Ruben Bada. Desy shared a house in North Belfast with Ruben and brother and sister, John (uilleann pipes) and Joanne (fiddle) McSherry, in the mid-2000s. Asturian music could sometimes be heard coming from the house at times when traditional music (or Led Zeppelin) was not blasting from the CD player!

Class playing by everyone, it's hard to find trad music that's so well arranged without sounding 'too new.' I'd put this album up with any of the old classics.
Also, as a bouzouki player, it's nice to hear the instrument so high in the mix, especially when it's played so skillfully. zefferoni

Absolutely sensational - love the generally low-end tones and planxty-esque set up, but most of all the incredible energy of it! Wish more instrumental trad was like this, love the fact that it's recorded live too. Prangman
