Ruadhrai first heard both tunes played by local musicians in Lerwick on a trip to the 25th Shetland Festival in 2005. The first tune was composed by Arthur Scott Robinson; apparently named after a local burn (stream) in Shetland where the composer liked to fish. The second tune is called the Cambridge Hornpipe. Many thanks to Belfast based fiddle player Martin Dowling for the name!

Class playing by everyone, it's hard to find trad music that's so well arranged without sounding 'too new.' I'd put this album up with any of the old classics.
Also, as a bouzouki player, it's nice to hear the instrument so high in the mix, especially when it's played so skillfully. zefferoni

Absolutely sensational - love the generally low-end tones and planxty-esque set up, but most of all the incredible energy of it! Wish more instrumental trad was like this, love the fact that it's recorded live too. Prangman
