These are two well-known set dances that Ryan plays together. Ryan heard the first set dance on a recording called ‘The Ace and Deuce’ made by our good friend, AnneMarie McCormick, with Conor McCarthy and Cyril O’Donoghue. Ryan picked up ‘The Garden of Daisies’ from sessions in Adare, County Limerick with a pair of the finest musicians, Derek Hickey and Liam Flanaghan.

Class playing by everyone, it's hard to find trad music that's so well arranged without sounding 'too new.' I'd put this album up with any of the old classics.
Also, as a bouzouki player, it's nice to hear the instrument so high in the mix, especially when it's played so skillfully. zefferoni

Absolutely sensational - love the generally low-end tones and planxty-esque set up, but most of all the incredible energy of it! Wish more instrumental trad was like this, love the fact that it's recorded live too. Prangman
